What’s the BIG deal with ONE BILLION?

This is too true to be funny. The next time you hear a politician use the word ‘billion’ in a casual manner, think about whether you want the ‘politicians’ spending YOUR tax money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of it’s releases.
- A billion is a number that is represented with a 1 followed by 9 zeros!
- A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
- A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
- A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate our government is spending it.
Washington DC, Our entire government needs to know that it is not morally right for them to spend our money in this casual manner. A billion dollars is a lot of money. We the people should elect Responsible Representatives to handle our government and fire those who waste our money with useless government programs. They raise the taxes to keep the fundamentals going, when they could instead cut back with the useless spending.
