The Freedom of Choice Act
I’m writing to let you know about a terrible piece of legislation called “The Freedom of Choice Act” (FOCA).
FOCA would establish the right to abortion as a fundamental right (like the right to free speech) and wipe away every restriction on abortion nationwide.
It will eradicate state and federal abortion laws the majority of Americans support and prevent states from enacting protective measures in the future.
- FOCA will do away with state laws on parental involvement, on partial-birth abortion, and on all other protections.
- FOCA will compel taxpayer funding of abortions.
- FOCA will force faith-based hospitals and healthcare facilities to perform abortions.
Please read the expert analysis by Americans United for Life (AUL) and sign the Fight FOCA petition at: www.FightFOCA.com
This would be another horrible step into the wrong direction. Please sign the petition and BLOG about this issue. Call your Congressman and Senators and find out where they stand. Then keep calling them until they support the petition! www.FightFOCA.com

Elections have consequences. How many pro-lifers voted for the Barackstar because of reason X, Y or Z?
This one’s on them as much as its on the hands of the pro-aborts who’ve been advocating it for years.
Wake up, people! These are fundamental issues of life and death. Literally!

Its true… Elections DO have consequences.
When the hospitals REFUSE to perform the abortions they would likely be shut down by their actions..
All when the same people who want AOD decry our poor healthcare..

Can’t you just buy the baby back for 5 pieces of silver (Leviticus 27:6)? That would be the religious thing to do.

Anonymous, I won’t answer that because you know you are speaking foolishness. If you want to have a intellectual conversation, raise a reasonable question. I could write what the Bible really says about killing unborn babies, but I don’t want to waste my time. But if you want to know, I would be happy to share it.

Oh, on the subject, thanks for posting about FOCA, Andrew.

Yeah, I really think it diminishes your credibility when to post as Anonymous. What I say comes from my heart so I do want “Andrew Biddinger” as the name. Even though I have been tempted to post something mean as Anonymous. I’m pretty sure I didn’t though.

RightMichigan.com - So true! I know some people who are pro-life but still voted for Obama. The death of babies are now on their hands too. So sad.

His America was established upon freedom and the truth that all humans are created equal. The value of their life isn’t different. No matter how small. Abortion doesn’t give those rights to the murdered babies.

It is quite ironic that FOCA would give people the right to have an abortion anywhere. Yet the only thing that still keeps abortion legal in the United States is Roe vs. Wade and that is all that Pro-abortionist people say when you try to argue with them. Mr. Obama and everyone else who support abortion must not have read the Constitution because it says that everyone has an inalienable right to LIFE, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness. The US government is attempting to get rid of what makes the United States the United States. Barack Obama and other US citizens need to actually learn what the US government stands (or at least should stand) for.

“If” America was based on “freedom of choice” then how come we let the mother decide if the baby dies. Shouldn’t that choice be left up to the baby to decide his or her future! It is our right to protect the innocent. Tommy, try talking to those babys that made it through botched abortions and ask them what their choice would have been if they could have been asked. I bet you they would say LIFE!!
