Fairness Doctrine Wall of Shame
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” - United States Constitution, Amendment I
You may have heard of the legislation before Congress that would reinstate a federal communications policy know as the “fairness doctrine” or known as the “Fairness in Broadcasting Act of 1993.” Well, the hall of shamers (below) want to pass the Fairness legislation again. The Fairness Doctrine would infringe on the First Amendment right of Free Speech. America is under attack. Regulating fairness in broadcasting is not Constitutional. If passed, the legislation would enact the fairness doctrine into law.

Senator Dick from Illinois should be muzzled for calling our troops Nazis. Now he wants to shut up the opponents. Figures! Libs are good at sticking their foot in their mouths and then trying to shut everyone else up. Durbin shame Illinois.

1) Every Amendment in the Bill of Rights has certain limitations and laws attached which adapt it to the current state of being in America.
2) The FCC does not allow profanity on the air waves. If this were truly a country allowing free speech then this restriction could not be in affect. If The Fairness Doctrine is unconstitutional then so is the profanity law.
I have found dozens of other reasons why The Fairness Doctrine is fair. You’ll be able to check them out here soon:

Well, you could argue that, but it’s not fair to the radio stations that would have to lose money by playing things evenly that no one would listen to. How far will this go? Are we going to take this to everything? Will Christian radio stations have to broadcast cult views? Will music stations have to evenly choose the hours for Rock, Rap, Christian, Classical..etc? It’s their freedom to choose what they want, and it’s our freedom to listen to a different station. Liberty is too high of a price to pay for someone preference.
