America is still America
America, America, God shed His grace on thee. I’ll start this post off by saying, America is still America. Our blessed US Nation is still the greatest and blessed Nation.
The election night was very emotional for me. I honestly already started a victory post for Tim Walberg. Obama becoming President-Elect was not much of a surprise to me. I already had guessed that when McCain won the Republican nomination. Now, I like John McCain, him being an American Hero, but he was never the right candidate for the Republican party. McCain did not rally the conservative base with traditional values, the core principles of the Republican party. McCain’s rallying of the base was only energized when he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. Even then, it was like they were running two different campaigns. So, when the Obama delusion came into the picture, he lured a lot of the Republicans to give him a chance. I admit it, Obama sounded great. But words alone should not win the number one job in the world. Great sounding things were pretty much all Obama had. No experience. No track record. No real change. Just a liberal and social mindset. This is not new. It has been around since the beginning of time. It just sounds better coming for the awesome speaker, Barack Obama.
If you want to see what governmental heath care looks like then go to Canada. If you want to see how the government ends up treating their people when geting to much power, then go to China. America was built on less governmental regulation and founded with Liberty and Freedom. The free, less regulated market is what creates jobs. Then when there are jobs, people can work. When people can work, they have money.
Hard work has been a foundation that America was built on. But when the government takes over and gives us money for doing nothing, then America becomes lazy. So, when American businesses stop producing the goods. The government has no more money to redistribute. Too bad. I guess we should have just worked hard in the first place. Duh. Obama’s plan doesn’t work in the long run. Is that good change? Obama will never fix your life. You must do it yourself! Work hard and you can achieve.
Beyond the presidential election, I was really surprised that Tim Walberg lost. I was there at the Tim Walberg election rally. No one expected to lose. When Tim came onto the stage to announce his conceding, I could see the anguish in all my friend’s eyes. It was so horrible. They had worked so hard, and now it was over. Sue Walberg’s response to the conceding was so very inspiring. All she did was comfort people by giving them loving hugs, and saying sweet words of comfort. A great, strong woman. Tim and Sue are great people, and they have hardly had time to see their family in these two years of his term. Tim Walberg was a very strong, hard working congressman. I can only hope that this does not end his public service. We need people like him in public office. Tim Walberg actually did better then John McCain in Michigan. It’s too bad that Barack Obama’s influence had to sway the election away from Tim Walberg. But when all the glow of Obama falls off in two years, we’ll be back. Stronger than ever.
We will have a Ronald Reagan Election in 2012. With our conservative values candidate Mike Huckabee, we will bring reform to America. But when 2010 rolls around, we will have our congress filled with people like Tim Walberg, and fill our Senate with people like Jack Hoogendyk in six years. The Republican party must first go back to it’s core principles. That’s why I support Jack Hoogendyk for Michigan’s Republican Chair. We need those core principles to succeed. No disrespect to Saul the current chairman, but I like Jack. I think Jack has the core principles that the Michigan Republican party needs to succeed in twenty ten and twenty twelve.
America is still America, and we’ll be back. BACK WITH PRINCIPLES.
